Elora Ramirez graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in English and a minor in Education. She received her M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a certificate for teaching 8-12 English. She has experience in middle school and high school classrooms, as well as curriculum development and instructional coaching. Since leaving the public school classroom, she’s written three novels and a book on indie publishing as well as creating a business around story. She teaches courses in English Literature and Rhetoric / Writing because she believes that in its purest form, storytelling is one of the best currencies we have for human connection.
Elora has an insatiable love for peonies, caffeinated beverages, and making sure you know you have a story to tell. If she’s not writing or coaching, she’s probably reading or art journaling or sitting by the pool or playing with her two pups. She lives with her husband and baby boy in Pflugerville.
